Emerica: What’s the biggest influence on your skating growing up?
Spanky: As a kid, videos, magazines and things I saw in the skate media influenced my skating.

Question 2:
Emerica:What’s the biggest influence on your skating today?
Spanky:Skating spots with friends or people I have just met and seeing how they approach a trick. It’s not even about the trick, but seeing how different people skate the same spot.

Question 3:
Emerica: What’s your biggest influence outside of skating?
Spanky: Books. I like to read a lot.

Emerica: Top 5 on your record players heavy rotation list right now?
Spanky:
1. Tom Waits – Big Time

Emerica: Who’s part in the upcoming Emerica video are you most looking forward to seeing?
Spanky: Andrew, because he is the Boss!

Emerica: What’s the best thing about your new Emerica pro model shoe?
Spanky: It’s totally skateable, but after the sesh you don’t want to change your shoes to go out or whatever. They look like shoes I wear when I’m not skating.
